There is a lot going on and I will try not to be long-winded.
There is a war going on in twitter land and we are sending out lots of tweets daily. There is a group leading this up on Facebook. They have all the important twitter handles to follow to help make an impact. Tweets are supposed to remain professional. Please don’t use slander when contacting government officials.

Also we are keeping calls up everyday to the White House and Governor’s offices who have imposed temporary or permanent flavor bans. Call them and tell them you are opposed to flavor bans and tell how flavored vapor has kept you off deadly cigarettes. Montana just announced today a ban!

The UVA(United Vapers Alliance) is a 501C4 Non Profit organization has organized an industry wide rally in DC. Saturday November 9th from 12pm-4pm. You should plan on arriving at 11am. This with be the biggest and only rally the industry has ever done. We want to bring as many owners, employees and customers/consumers as humanly possible. We will have thousands coming from all over the country.
This like many things cost money. Busses, hotels, airfare, portable toilets, licenses, fees, permits, equipment etc. etc. We have it easy in Maryland because we are local and have ready access to the metro system. The MVA wants to help fund the cause.
The MVA will be doing a 50/50 Drawing to raise money and awareness for the National Vape Rally in DC on 9 Nov.
50/50 Drawing – Half the money will go to the Rally (United vapers alliance) / half the money will go to winning ticket.
$1 one ticket
$5 six tickets
$10 15 Tickets.
Use standard raffle tickets and make sure purchasers put name and phone number and name of the shop that they bought ticket. You can start selling tickets as of today October 8, 2019.
Melissa Hendrix of Vape Loft will be getting a flyer done with all the shops participating and the details so you can post on your shop pages and in online forums.

All shops participating must bring all tickets and cash to the next MVA meeting (OCT 22nd) @ Perry’s in Odenton MD. At the meeting a winner will be drawn live on Facebook. If you cannot attend, please either make arrangements to get a representative there for your shop or make arrangements to get your tickets/cash to another member that is going.
In closing we are facing a flavor ban in MD next session. The MVA is being proactive and we are already working with legislators to address this and the youth access problem. Our goal is to restrict youth access while at the same time making vapor products readily available to adult consumers.
